RE/MAX sold on a cure.
Many RE/MAX agents donate a portion of each sale to Children's Miracle Network. I personally have donated for years and 2 years ago when my son was born, and had to be air lifted to Children's Hospital in Vancouver, I learned first hand how that money is being spent. Children's hospital IS a miracle and those doctors, nurses and staff deserve much love and recognition for the jobs they do day in and day out. I am always happy to donate money to a good cause and now RE/MAX Western Canada has started the Sold on a Cure campaign. Now a portion of each sale will go towards finding a cure for cancer. Unfortunately I'm sure we have all been touched in some way by this horrible disease, and i am proud to be part of this fight.
I personally know many REALTORS® who donate tons of money to many different causes, not only RE/MAX agents, but the one thing I like about RE/MAX is the concentrated effort. I like knowing the thousands of dollars collected from the sale of each property focused on a particular cause. I also appreciate the collective power of multiple RE/MAX office in Western Canada getting together to do some good. I would never recommend someone picking an agent because of the money they donate...but it's nice knowing that the RE/MAX name cares for it's community and it's people.
