Children's Miracle Network - Feb. 15, 2011
One of the things I'm most proud of while being part of RE/MAX is the giving we do each year to the Children's Miracle Network. Mainly because they donate money to BC Children's Hospital and I know firsthand what an amazing hospital it is. My son, after being born in Chilliwack, was airlifted to Children's. A parents worse nightmare for sure, watching our brand new baby struggle to breath, the care he received at Children's was amazing. The doctors and nurses, obviously understanding the difficult time you are going through, take so much time to explain what is going on so you never feel left in the dark. So for me, giving money back to the hospital through the Children's Miracle Network is a no-brainer.
It's also a no-brainer for many of the other RE/MAX agents who durning the last RE/MAX Annual Conference held on Feb. 4, 2011 donated $62,487 dollars. It's also a no-brainer when we see that in 2010 RE/MAX donated 3.7 Million dollars, of which Western Canadian affiliates lead the way with 1.37 Million. Finally, it's awesome to see that since 1992 Canada has donated 39 Million dollars of the 107 Million collected by RE/MAX International.
Just one of the many reasons I'm proud to be a RE/MAX agent.
