9 Million Dollars

Phase 1 opening 2010, phase 2 opening 2012

The Cheam Centre Renovations is an upgrade to the existing facilities.  The swimming pool and curling rink building will be demolished to make way for the new additions.  The first phase of this 9 million dollar project already started is planning to be open spring of 2010.  

Within this first phase we will see a new 25 metre six lane pool, gradual entry family leisure pool and play features, administration area, storage rooms and improvements of existing spaces.  The second phase which is slated for 2012 will include a fitness facility upgrade.
