History is made in the States.
Last night was an amazing moment in US history. I had a hard time switching between the hockey game and the election results. In the end the election results won...and so did Barak Obama. It was like watching the countdown to the new year. The amount of people who were out in the streets, at political parties etc...unbelievable.
Barak is going to have his work cut out for him during his term. Getting the US back on its feet again after all that has happened during the Bush administration is not going to be easy. It would interesting to watch Barak on his first day in the White House, sitting in the Oval office, thinking back on his tough, well fought campain...and then realizing the pile of crap that he has inherited from the former Commander in Chief. I can't even fathom that amount of responsibility.
All in all the next 4 years will be an interesting time to watch the US.
