How to access MLXchange on your iPad...
I get this question all the time, matter of fact I addressed it again yesterday, how to access MLXchange on my Apple products? So for those of you who find this old news, take a hike and I'll address this problem for the newbies :)The creators of MLXchange built their product to only work with Internet Explorer, and even though it is 2011, we are still stuck with the same system for the same browser (insert snotty sarcastic tone here). So until the designers of MLXchange address this issue, which I've heard has been in the works for YEARS, (insert another snotty sarcastic tone here) we are stuck with work arounds.
There are tons of different programs that you can buy to view Internet Explorer websites on Apple products. For example VMware Fusion, is a good product. I, however, have chosen to use LogMeIn Ignition. LogMeIn works on all Apple products but the video is going to demonstrate how to use it on an iPad. I find it works even better and faster on my Macbook Pro, but I tend to carry my iPad more often, especially when I'm with clients.
As I explain in the video, the reason I use LogMeIn is because it accesses my PC's remotely. This gives me the ability to use MLXchange as well as all my files on my computer. I can write contracts using WebForms and print them off while away from my computer. Basically it gives me the ability to be in my office without actually having to be in my office. And we all know we don't sell houses sitting in the office.
It's simple to set up. Pay for the app, download it on your iPad, download it on all your PC's, set up a password and off you go. In the video I'm up on Chilliwack Mountain, no where near wifi, and over my tethered 3G network it loads pretty quick.
